The Ducati MIG-RR e-bike was first unveiled at last year’s 2018 Milan Motorcycle Show, but it never went on sale.

But a year later, the company announced that the first Ducati electric bike would finally go on sale in the United States.

Here’s how Ducati North America CEO Jason Chinnick presented the bike:

“We introduced the Mig-RR last year

The bike will be offered in several models with prices ranging from $ 4,000 to $ 7,000. Quite a high price, especially when compared to the prices of Chinese e-bikes. Here’s what the Ducati CEO says about who the model is targeting:

“Our first target is the current owners of Ducati, because this is like an extension of the brand’s lifestyle, they are looking for new opportunities — things to do when they are not riding their motorcycle.

This isn’t Ducati’s only e-bike, as the brand recently introduced three new models, however they have yet to go into production.
